A joint project of Most Holy Redeemer and First Congregational Church,the Hadley Food Pantry is housed at the Fr. Adrian Benoit Parish Center and operates Sundays from Noon to 1pm.
We provide non perishable food and personal care items
(some Sundays near Holidays you'll see notices of Sunday closings).
You can help!
Our food comes from generous supporters of the food pantry project:
members of both churches,
area community groups and individuals,
..the Amherst Post Office Annual Food Collection
and other generous donors of both goods and financial gifts.
On a weekend we will serve anywhere from a low of 6-14 individuals/ families.

How to donate:
Put items in the bins in the vestibules of the church when you come to mass.
Monday thru Friday, 9am to Noon,
stop by the Most Holy Redeemer Church Office, 120 Russell Street,
to drop off donations of money or items
or place monetary donations in the collection basket in an envelope marked "Food Pantry" .
Checks made payable to “Most Holy Redeemer Church.
What items do we always need?*
Canned/bottled Fruit, Juice, Coffee, Tea, Pasta and Pasta Sauce, Breakfast Cereals, Cookies, Jellies and Preserves, Peanut Butter, Canned Tuna and Meats such as Ham or Chicken, Canned Meals, Rice, Crackers, Condiments such as Mayonnaise, and Cooking Oils
Desserts (such as cake mixes and puddings)
Personal care items such as Toothpaste, Soaps, etc. as well as Paper Products such as Toilet Paper (4 roll packs or less) and Tissues.
*Please do not donate expired items.
