- If you are looking for daily reflections during Lent, we recommend joining “The Best Lent Ever program” which will be offering daily video reflections by Mathew Kelly starting on Ash Wednesday, February 17. Go to https://www.dynamiccatholic.com/lent/best-lent-ever.html to sign-up to have a daily email sent to you with a link to each presentation.
- The Diocesan on February 20, will be hosting a Diocesan Virtual Lenten Day of Prayer led by Fr. Warren Savage and Mary Keator, 10:00am -noon. The theme will be “Reclaiming and Renewing our Covenant Relationship with God, Creation, and Neighbor". Pre-registration is required by going to our Diocesan https://www.Iobserve.org and click on the Calendar.
- Bishop Byrne will be offering daily 30 second "Spiritual Shorts" on the Diocesan You Tube and or Facebook page. To view them go to the Diocese of Springfield Website at diospringfield.org (you can copy this link right into your address bar) and click on either the YouTube icon or the Facebook icon for a brief reflection to guide you through Lent.
- OUR LADY OF BLESSED SACRAMENT PARISH LENTEN SPEAKER SERIES The Speaker Series sponsored by OLBS in Westfied will be ‘virtual,’ available on YouTube, with a great line-up of speakers – beginning with our new Bishop William Byrne! Our theme for this year’s Speaker Series is: “KEEPING FAITH DURING THE PANDEMIC - GOD’S GOT THIS!” An opportunity to find the blessings during this challenging time of the Pandemic, with our eyes set on Easter Joy! Other speakers will include author, speaker, radio show host – Gary Zimak - who will touch on many themes of his book ‘Give Up Worry for Lent’ Additional speakers include - Sr. Bethany Madonna, Fr. Mike Schmitz, April Helenek, and Fr. Chris Alar. Join us each Wednesday of Lent, beginning this Wednesday February 24 through March 31, at 6:30 pm, or watch the video any time after that on YouTube.
